How to Install and Maintain Garden Fountains

  • Position the pump in the fountain and take the electrical cord out through the drain hole.
  • Put the drain plug in the drain hole. Seal this plug using sealant putty or silicon sealant.
  • Place the solar power supply where it will not get in the way and will receive sunlight easily. Bury this cord about 5-6 inches deep.
  • Two people should perform this step. One person has to hold the top while the other person passes the water tube from the bottom to the top. The water tube has to be pushed all the way to the top of the fountain.
  • Fix the fountain top in its place. Fill the basin with water and plug the drain plug in the solar power base. Now your fountain is successfully installed.

  • Check and maintain water levels especially in the summer when there is a risk of evaporation. The water level should be at least two inches from the tip of the basin.
