 Patios enclosures and sunrooms are great additions to any house. These rooms add a lot of character to the place and drives up the value considerably. Contrary to popular view, there are a number of things that greatly enhances the ambiance of the room.

A change in the wallpaper adds a lot to the décor of the room. Choose a light color scheme which complements the light in the room and Opt for a plain or light floral pattern which enhances the room and gives it a feeling of space. Pastel colors work best in sunrooms and patio enclosures. They give off a feeling of warmth and coziness. A room painted in pastels will actually look brighter and bigger.

Choose a theme for your patio enclosure or sunroom. This theme could be anything from Mediterranean to Old South. A themed room is your escape from day-to-day stresses and problems. The furniture is often the most ignored part of sunrooms or patio enclosures. A simple change in the furniture goes a long way in renovating the looks of the room. Plants are another great must have for patio enclosures and sunrooms. They add a lot of warmth to the room. The theme of the room can also incorporate plants. From authentic Indian rugs to imitation Persian ones, these rugs are a great addition to sunrooms or patio enclosures.  These rugs feel very comfortable underfoot and heighten the colors and light in the room.

Small statutes or unusual pots and potholders add life to sunrooms and patio enclosures. They are relatively easy to find and install. Unique pots and pot holders can enhance the theme of the room or can be used as decorations on their own. There is practically no limit to the things that can be used. Old boots, vases, ceramics and hand woven wicker baskets are just a few examples.

Many people also opt for a small fountain or an aquarium. While they are not bad choices, the dominant factor in the decision is the size of the sunroom or patio enclosures. If it is a small room, it is better to skip these items as they take up a lot of room and could make the room feel cramped.
