As a homeowner, you must keep toolbox full of basic plumbing tools in you home to do the plumbing repairs. If you have the proper plumbing tools, then you can solve several plumbing problems by yourself and save the expense and get rid of the hassle of calling a plumber. Sink Auger
Sink auger is one of the highly useful and inexpensive plumbing tools. It is used to unclogging pipes or drain and has a round cannister which contains a metal cable. A tube cutter is used for cutting copper water lines as it has smooth edges which necessary for working with these pipes. It is among the most easy-to-use plumbing tools. You just have to connect it with the pipe you want to cut and spin it until the pipe is completely cut at the place you want.
Channel Locks Pliers
You must have channel lock pliers among the plumbing tools you own as you most probably have PVC traps in your bathroom and kitchen. A channel lock is useful for taking these traps apart when it gets blocked. It is better than a wrench for loosening the union as it is smaller and goes easily in tight places
